PYRON^® is our oxidized PAN fiber that is inherently flame resistant, which makes it an effective heat-blocking and fire barrier material. PYRON^® fibers do not burn, melt, or drip. Instead, they char and self-extinguish. The largest application for PYRON^® is the aircraft brake market, where it holds the dominant position in the marketplace. We have produced our oxidized PYRON^® technical fibers for over 20 years, allowing us fine-tune our process and become the largest oxidized PAN fiber producer in the world.
