Zoltek's Take: This is an interesting article that not only reaffirms the need for alternative energy, but the importance of an improved electrical grid system in the United States.
Carbon fibers are being used in the core of the transmission cables (see article titled "An Eye on Growth, Deals Stretch Across the Pacific" posted on our site) that make up the new, state-of-the-art grid systems. If a massive, large scale improvement of our grid system occurs, we will be ready to capture any new business that is available.
