Technical Sales Support – Carbon Fiber
Zoltek Corporation (www.zoltek.com), the leading supplier of commercial grade carbon fiber, seeks Technical Sales Support personnel to develop carbon fiber application markets. Our markets include many commercial applications, including: wind energy, auto, offshore drilling, aerospace, and many other diverse industrial markets.
Job Description
Responsibilities
- Provide fiber handling support to customers
- Work directly with new customers to demonstrate fiber handling requirements of commercial grade carbon fiber, and how to incorporate into manufacturing processes
- Assist existing customers in troubleshooting any fiber processing issues
- Document common issues and act as the "voice of the customer" to Zoltek’s R&D, quality, and operations groups
Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelors degree in Engineering (chemical, mechanical, textile), or technical equivalent
- Minimum 5-10 years experience with most composite fabrication processes (pultrusion, prepregging, filament winding, infusion, RTM, etc.)
- Background in textile and/or composite manufacturing processes
- Solid technical expertise in composites, and experience in building customer relationships
