Sales Account Manager

Zoltek Corporation (www.zoltek.com), the leading supplier of commercial grade carbon fiber, seeks Sales personnel to fill key positions on our team. Our markets include many commercial applications, including: wind energy, auto, offshore drilling, aerospace, and many other diverse industrial markets.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Represent Zoltek to our customer base and communicate our strategy to new potential customers
  • Act as the “voice of the customer” to Zoltek’s internal teams – e.g., quality, product development, marketing, etc.
  • Seek out new customers and coordinate efforts with corporate / business development to acquire them
  • Develop and manage customer call plan that supports corporate objectives
  • Understand customer issues and engage Zoltek technical support and/or corporate support as needed
  • Provide input to sales forecasting and market planning
  • Service existing customer base, manage all commercial issues and the entire sales process
  • Coordinate efforts for Zoltek’s presence at appropriate conferences / trade shows

Qualifications

  • Minimum Bachelors degree
  • Proven sales track record in the materials, composites, chemicals, plastics industry
  • Minimum 3-5 years sales experience in a business-to-business environment
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team. Develop and drive your own agenda.
  • Written and spoken fluency in English and applicable local language(s)
  • Ability to travel approx. 50% of the time

Locations are flexible and include: China, Korea, Japan, Singapore, Europe, and United States.
